Written by 9/11 Commissioner Richard Ben Veniste was in San Francisco on 6/18/09 promoting a new book where he was confronted by members of WeAreChangeSF and 9/11 Truth Action Bay Area.
It was rather disturbing to see a man who prides himself on “truth and transparency” casually joke(?) about being part of a cover up involving the deaths of almost 3,000 Americans.
With private security monitoring the members of WeAreChangeSF and 9/11 Truth Action outside of the store after the book signing, Veniste snuck out the back door obviously not wanting to further comment on the events of 9/11 in which he represents himself as an expert on.
As a former government official working for the people of the United States of America, his conduct further illustrates the separation between the intentions of the our political figures and the public at large.
