Fox News has seen it fit to fire Judge Andrew Napolitano. His show “Freedom Watch” was, in my opinion, the only news program on Fox, perhaps on television, worth watching. He delivered the freedom message with great eloquence, consistency and integrity. He is certainly, again in my opinion, a much more watchable and likeable host than Bill O’Liely or Sean Scammity. He simply makes a lot of sense to me when he speaks. READ MORE »

All Roads Lead to Ron Paul
Ron Paul is finally getting the attention he has deserved for so long. The mainstream corporate media is finally relenting, although grudgingly, to the pressure applied by virtue of Dr. Paul’s rising popularity and his unwavering principles. His message of liberty is finally beginning to sink into the minds of the sheeple. It has taken a long time because our society has grown up around sound bites of a few seconds or less. It becomes difficult to explain complicated solutions in less than a minute, let alone only a few seconds. It is also easier for those who edit sound bites to make bad ideas sound better, or more compassionate, or more moral, etc. The manipulations have recently become so obvious, however, that even the most sheepish of those who follow the herd have begun to notice. Ron Paul, the Honest Government I Deserve
I have heard that you get the government you deserve. This might be true for you, but I can tell you I’ve never gotten the government I deserve. I’ve never voted for a corrupted, corporate establishment owned, globalist, big government Democrat. I’ve never voted for a corrupted, corporate establishment owned, globalist, big government Republican. I’ve always voted for candidates who espoused smaller, more transparent government. I’ve always voted for candidates who espoused peace and non aggression in foreign policy. I’ve always vote for principle, never either of two evils whether one is lesser or not. It wasn’t enough that someone just paid lip service to principle, they had to exhibit a public record supporting their position. READ MORE »
Co-opting the Populist Majorities
I have stated before that I am happy to see the “Occupy Wall Street” movement moving forward and turning into something bigger. I am happy to see it gain momentum and migrate to other areas. The American people, like people all over the world, are angry with the ruling classes and are voicing their discontent. Whether the oligarchs have planned and/or financed the populist movements that have popped up lately I don’t know, but it seems to me that it would be prudent for them to try to infiltrate such movements and obtain leadership positions so that they can steer them in directions they want them to go. 999 is 666 Upside Down and Backward
“Let me tell you how it will be,
There’s one for you, nineteen for me…
…Don’t ask me what I want it for,
If you don’t want to pay some more
Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.”
From Taxman by The Beatles
No, I’m not claiming that Herman Cain is the Antichrist, though I’m sure that there are many others who will. I will say, however, that I’m scratching my head wondering how he got so popular promoting such a lame tax scheme. Are there really that many people who will fall for such a propagandistic gimmick? Are there really that many people who don’t know how taxes work? Are there really that many people that don’t understand that this is a tax increase for everyone? My guess is that the media is exaggerating Mr. Cain’s popularity just as they are understating Dr. Paul’s. I think the establishment is running scared at Ron Paul’s popularity and so they commanded their corporate media lackeys to promote this guy as the next great messiah or some such thing. READ MORE »
Free Market Jobs and Taxing the Rich
There’s been a lot of talk lately coming from the federal government about creating jobs. There’s been congressional hearings on the subject. This is a subject near and dear to my heart. What’s it been, ten, eleven, twelve years since this economic downturn started? Four or five years into this current depression? It’s hard to tell how long it’s been since government and their lapdog corporate media sources like to obfuscate and manipulate economic statistics and realities so much. Well, I’ve been out of a good paying job for two and a half years now, so for me at least that’s how long the depression has lasted. I’ve had to worry about my own job creation and producing what I can for that long now. READ MORE »
Snipes In Jail, Corporations Evade Taxes Legally
MSNBC host Cenk Uygur speaks with Jesse Drucker of Bloomberg News on how corporations legally evade taxes at the cost of American taxpayers.
Obama looks to raise $600 billion by cutting corporate subsidies, raising taxes
The White House announced today that it is seeking to raise $600 billion in revenue through new taxes and the elimination of corporate subsidies as part of a deal to lower the deficit and raise the debt ceiling.
President Barack Obama is trying to ensure that any spending cuts agreed to are also offset by tax increases — something Republicans have said they will oppose at all costs.
White House Spokesman Jay Carney echoed the calls of many Democratic legislators, saying any deal must include tax hikes or the elimination of subsidies, setting the stage for a showdown with Republicans over the next five weeks.
“It’s the only way to get it done,” he said.
The Dream Presidential Campaign and Barack Obama’s Birth Certificate
I’ve given serious thought to simply quitting. These articles take up my time and I simply am not receiving as much financial support as I was hoping I would by this time. It’s tough for me to keep from writing, however, when so much excitement is brewing. Even as things look bleak and the world seems to be heading into the abyss of centralized corporate governance, more people seem to begin to understand the message of liberty and the necessity for my blogging work wanes. Those at the top seem quite worried and are beginning to scramble as the populace begins to become aware of their nature and the illusions they have so carefully weaved begin to fade. READ MORE »
Use Your Imagination, Become the Change
Well, I’ve learned something. I’ve learned that supporters of unions can be just as bad as supporters of other religious or political violent organizations. Now, I don’t mean to imply that they are themselves violent or that they are bad people. They are, in fact, likely good people with very good intentions. However, I believe that many have just decided to blindly support aggressive organizations that use questionable methods to achieve their goals. It seems to me that when the faults of these organizations are pointed out to them even in what should be considered a reasonable and somewhat measured fashion they suddenly become very defensive. It seems to me that perhaps they are refusing to look at the true nature of the organization they are defending and they go into a state of denial. They begin to defend these organizations in a manner I could compare with religious zealousness and will attack the messenger. READ MORE »
The Gun in the Room and Public Schools
“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”
George Washington
The gun in the room allegory refers to the nature of government. While many people do not want to think about it and likely do not want to admit it, government is force. Every law made, every tax passed, every regulation imposed, is backed up by the threat of force being used against you. Many famous people knew this and have commented on it. The quote above attributed to George Washington is perhaps the best known. Even Barack Obama recently confessed that he feels the nation state is a monopoly on violence. I’m not sure who was the first to present “the gun in the room” allegory, but I’ve heard it attributed to both Harry Browne and Murray Rothbard. Anyway, I thought I’d try to present my own short explanation of the gun in the room. READ MORE »
Unions, Politics and Wisconsin Protests
I am torn by the protests in Wisconsin. On the one hand, I am happy to see people coming out in protest and saying no to government power. On the other hand, the reason they are coming out upsets me. You see, I’ve been unemployed for over two years now. I’ve run out of “benefits” and I am now completely dependent on the charity of others for my survival. I wish I had a job. The people protesting work in the public sector. It has been my taxes and the taxes of others like me who work in the private sector that have paid for their jobs. Now they believe they should be able to keep their full pay and benefits even though the private sector is shrinking and the money from it is harder to come by? READ MORE »
American Day of Laze
The call has gone out by certain youth and worker groups in Saudi Arabia to stage a “Day of Rage” on March 11th. This is in response to the uprisings that have been going on across the Middle East and Northern Africa. The people are demanding a release of political prisoners and the implementation of social reforms. I’m thinking that people in this area of the world are tired of being brutalized and having their loved ones jailed for trying to exercise their natural individual rights. They are not, however, freedom oriented as they seem to simply want regime change to a kinder and more benevolent government that takes care of them rather than asking the government to simply leave them alone so that they can take care of themselves. Family hit with tax for dead baby
A U.S. family is baffled after they were mailed a $50 “death tax” bill to cover costs associated with their deceased newborn daughter.
Olivia Clark, not expected to survive outside of her mother’s womb due to polycystic kidneys that caused her lungs to develop improperly, lived for about an hour after her birth.
Later, the Washington state parents – who delivered the infant in King County – received an unusual invoice in the mail.
“There was a little line on there near the bottom of the bill that said
‘King county death tax: $50.’ And we looked at that, and looked at that and looked at each other and said ‘what is that?’” Larry Clark, grandfather of the infant, told Seattle’s KING 5 News.

Stop Showing Up For the War
2012 Leave a Comment
Can you hear them? The dogs of war are barking. They’re getting very loud. These guys want to fight. They want to fight bad. They’re growling, snarling and salivating as they think about all the glorious death and destruction they can cause. These animals can’t wait to see the people melt. They hunger for the human misery they can cause,. They long to feast upon the mangled and dismembered bodies of their victims and wallow in the radioactive glow of rubble where fabulous cities once stood. This is the mentality of the sub-human leadership in a couple of well known nations. These vicious animals plan on being safe in their hardened bunkers while the peoples of their nations suffer from their arrogance and inept statesmanship. READ MORE »
